Make room! I am discarding more than 80 games from my collection. Come take your pick. Anything not claimed and taken away this month will be scrapped.

After the initial allocation of who will take what games home, we have time to play a game.

HI Eric... I'm late to the conversation, but do you still have any games left. I'm not concerned about the actual game, I'm really looking for the game boards for an art project. So, I'm interested in the ones you were going to toss or discard in some way. Although, if they are games I'd enjoy, then I'd keep them as is and add to my sadly lacking collection.
I'm almost always at Monday night games in Hudson, or I can arrange to meet you on a weekend day. Thanks !!

Thanks Eric!!!!!! and also thank you to anyone who took any of my games even though they were crap in comparison to what Eric was giving away

One person's crap is another person's treasure!

Got to play games and get some games that I've never played before. It'll be fun checking them out. Thanks, Eric!!!

Eric, is there already a line of folks sitting outside your front door waiting to get in? :)

    August 22, 2012

    • Eric P.

Anybody who arrives more than five minutes early goes to the back of the line. The rest will be ordered randomly.

LOL! I'm glad I got this message. I was going to arrive 30 min early. Guess I'll just wait in the car for a while.

My list of free games for this event:

    http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/146081

like I said before, my list really pales in comparison. I may dig deeper to see if there is more I can add.

I updated the list. I showed four games I am still thinking about and added four more. The list is still at http://edp.org/Games/limbo.html. I think this is final except for the listed four.

    Hmm. Getting URL not found

Jeff can see it. Did you copy the URL in a funny way or something? Can you send me a screen shot of the error?

wow there's a lot of good games on that list! sadly I already own a good chunk of them but still maybe half a dozen prospects of games that have been on my "to try before buying" list though! I'll have to do digging to see what games I have to add to the give a way list but I think my offerings are going to pale in comparison

There is a preliminary list of games I am discarding at http://edp.org/Games/limbo.html.

It was me, but I think anyone who has beaten Eric at Words with Friends should take precedence ;-)

Opps, it must have been Rick then, only remember suggestion coming from opposite side of table from Justin and I... though if I was wrong already maybe I'm wrong again and it was Justin? :)

  • Michelle Scott R.

    I did? I don't remember that!

Michelle on Sat suggested we bring cash and bid on (auction off) the games more than person/couple is interested in?

    August 20, 2012

  • Eric P.

Due to the interest, I might need to organize some selection process better than a free-for-all or first-come first-serve. Perhaps: Wait a bit for people to arrive. Assign numbers randomly. Take choices round-robin.

Hmmm bribery. I never thought of that.

wow, this really looks like one way to get everyone out... I hope most folks stay to play games. Actually from what you said Sat don't we have to? If we win a game we get to pick a game from teh giveaway, the losers you pick the games we have to take :)
