Moderate hiker, but all season and any Northeast mountain though grateful for the knowledge of the more experienced, including on Huntington's Ravine Trail going up Mt. Washington. I have gotten friends to hike Mt Garfield with me for their first time, and we all survived.
Camping on the trail for an overnight.
Yes, boots, microspikes, pack large enough for some overnight survival if needed.
Always something new. And repeats with new hikers is always fun, meeting new people. I get excited hiking places I haven't hiked before. And explore.
Weekends and school holidays. I'm in education.
Started hiking little more than a year ago with the over 50 hiking group. Really like the Meetup groups and side groups that hike.
