Hometown: Nashua, NH

I'm an experienced hiker. My first hike was a guided nature tour of Mt. Monadnock with the SPNHF in around 1996. I was hooked and started working next on the NH 48s. Since then I've become a long-distance backpacker as well.
I love backpacking Vermont's Long Trail most of all. Three weeks out is perfectly satisfying, though I'd head out on the AT again if I had another 5 months off.
Yes. I don't have winter climbing gear, like ropes or an ice axe. Everything else, I think I have. Nothing is currently on my gear wish list.
Just to get out. I do mostly stick to the NH 48 because they are what I'm most familiar with I suppose. For half day hikes, I like N. Kearsarge, the Green Hills Preserve, the Moats. I'm always up for a Wapack end-to-end.
Mostly weekends, expect summers and vacations, then any day is great.
Hello, I'm an all-season avid hiker and backpacker who sometimes runs and bikes to stay in shape, reads and bird watches to relax. I'm looking forward to doing less solo hiking. :-)
This group was fabulous. It was lovely to meet 9 wonderful new hikers that I would love to hike with in the future. Thanks, Tim for organizing everything so well.
