You get to sleep in a little for this one and get a nice snowshoe hike with good views of Mt Washington.

The weather is looking good,  Breezy cold, but most of this hike is sheltered.
Sunday

Partly cloudy. High of 30F with a windchill as low as 3F. Breezy. Winds from the West at 15 to 25 mph.

Hike Description: The LITTLE  Owl's Head (the other one) on Cherry Mountain rd near Twin Mountain , possibly including Martha's Mile and Mt Martha. This is a winter hike, traction and probably snowshoes required

Difficulty/hike rating: Anywhere from Intermediate to Advanced, depending on snow conditions.

Mileage: 5.0m RT (Owl's Head only) 6.6m RT (including Mt Martha)

Elevation gain: 2000 ft to Owl's Head

AMC Booktime: 3:30 to Owl's Head, add an hour or so to do Martha's Mile

Map of Owl's Head Trailhead: rumor has it that it is sometimes plowed, otherwise park roadside.

The views of Mt Washington and the northern presi's from Owl's Head are spectacular.
