Cambridge Arts has decided to celebrate their 35th Anniversary of the River Festival in the heart of the Central Square Cultural District. The Cambridge River Festival has previously occurred on the banks of the Charles River since its inception in 1977. This year, due to overlapping major construction projects and large scale events taking place on this historical footprint. This year the temporary festival site will begin at Prospect Street and continue eastward down Massachusetts Avenue to the Jill Brown-Rhone Memorial Park, where it will turn and run the length of Sidney Street to Pilgrim Street.
