Hike in East Rock Park this St. Patrick's Day and bring some green tea (not beer)! The weather should be partly sunny on Sunday with temperatures around 42 degrees.
For those of us ready to get out and celebrate the end of winter!
The hike will take approximately 2 hours. The trails are easy to moderate to hard but may be muddy in a few spots. Wear waterproof boots and bring water (or green tea). You should be relatively healthy and physically fit to complete this hike.

We will meet at the pavillion in College Woods Park near the ranger station. Depending on the feeling of the group, we'll either take the white/yellow trail up the giant steps or go the longer way on more level terrain.
We may also do some yoga stretching on the way or at the top of East Rock. Any donations are gladly accepted for the yoga sessions!
After the hike, food & drink festivities might be possible : )
