This month's yoga class includes different versions of the moon salutation, a yoga sequence of postures that work the sides of the body especially in the neck and lower back areas. The class occurs two days before the actual full moon and a total lunar eclipse on Tuesday April 15 at about 3:45 am.
Moon salutations can be less stimulating than Sun Salutations, and are especially effective when practiced around the time of the full moon - as this is the most powerful lunar phase – making it a great practice just before bed time.
$5 per person.
Combining elements of yin yoga, restorative yoga and breath meditation, this is a candlelight class to help your body signal the parasympathetic nervous system's relaxation response to reduce stress, calm the mind and sleep better.
