Hello Fellow Richmonders!

As many of you are new to the area, you may not know yet were to find emergency information, or how to get a hold of authorities or officials in the event you may need them or need information.  I’ve put together a list of important info you may need below.  It includes how to get a hold of police, roadway conditions, closings, utility/telecom companies, and other links.

If you know of anything else to be added, please go to the discussion thread titled “Area Emergency Info”  under  the “New To Richmond? Discussion Forum” (http://www.meetup.com/New-In-Town-Richmond/messages/boards/forum/1315410)  and add it there.  **NOTE: Meetup.com is going to be down for maintenance, tomorrow, Saturday, August 27th from 4:30-8:00 AM EST.
