December Update

Thank you to ALL the house party attendees last Saturday!  We had a great time as well as raising almost $300 to support the RNIT Volunteer charities.  We have great projects lined up this month and into the new year.  Please see the below links to join us in some holiday festivities while giving back to the community.  Now more than ever, they need our help.

December 11th - Holiday Party Potluck at the Safe Haven Homeless Shelter
Bring a potluck dish, bring a grab-bag gift, bring your holiday cheer, make a difference in someone's life.
***We could really use extra volunteers for this event, so please sign up if you are able to help.  Thanks!***

December 16th - The Annual Holly Ball for Greater Richmond ARC
Decorate, serve food, mix-n-mingle and dance with our developmental disabled friends.

Please note: All volunteer projects are kid-friendly so bring the family!

Volunteer of the Month:

Lisa Frohne
Lisa hasn't missed a volunteer project yet since her initial involvement back in September.  Her first project with the Greater Richmond ARC has her coming back time and time again with even more spirit to help out.  Along with her awesome Electric Slide dance moves, you'll see her running to and fro trying to lend a hand in anything and everything.  Lisa started volunteering at the homeless shelter as well and she's a machine in the kitchen but also stops to give an ear to listen to the residents.  She's shown extreme interest in helping with the VA Home for Boys and Girls projects planned for next year.  Thank you Lisa for showing us why RNIT Volunteers is what it is today.

Happy Holidays!
