Kane Brewery Tour

Launched in August of 2011, Kane Brewing Company is a small craft brewery located on the coast of New Jersey. Their focus is brewing American-style and Belgian influenced ales. All of their handcrafted beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and brewed locally in their custom built brew house located in Ocean Township in Monmouth County. Most of the beers are draft-only and available at bars and restaurants in coastal, central and northern New Jersey where they hand deliver each beer to ensure the highest level of both beer freshness and service.

One of my favorite beers is Kane's IPA. Since my first sip I have been dying to get to this brewery. The tour  starts promptly at 2pm and lasts about an hour. Afterward you have the choice to purchase a flight of their beers. You can visit the brewers website here:  http://www.kanebrewing.com/

COST: Tours are free. Afterward you have the option to stick around and and purchase draft beers by the glass or flight. Prices run about $6 each.

PARKING: They do have a parking lots of about 40 spaces. If the lot fills up there is street parking.

AFTER THE MEETUP: If you would like to continue your Saturday adventure I highly recommend going to the Brick Wall Tavern (http://www.brickwalltavern.com/). The address is 522 Cookman Ave. Asbury Park, NJ - Pretty sure it is street parking. Some highlights:

-  On Saturday's Brick Wall Tavern has a Raw Bar offering: $1 Littlenecks, $2.50 oysters etc.

- Uhh, they have beer floats? YES. How about a Guiness with Coffee Ice Cream? Or a Blue Moon with Orange Sherbert? Purple Haze with Strawberry Ice Cream?! I will take six, please.

- 24 Craft Beer on tap. Today. Tomorrow. Always.

See you there, you little Food Monsters.

Prost!

Sorry we lost everyone after Porta. I was under the impression we were all going to the bar across the street. It didn't seem to happen that way!

Any chance we can move this up an hour or so? Make it earlier

We have a group of about twenty meeting for the 2pm tour so it would be a bit inconvenient to move the time. However, if anyone in the group wants Togo to the 1:00 instead I suggest they reply to this comment. No reason why two groups can't go separately!
