In the pages of a comic book, I feel at home. Regardless of what you do to pay the bills, if you dream of a life immersed in the creation of comic books and graphic novels, this is where you belong. To join, you must live in NJ and have serious ambition for your respective dream. Writers are especially welcome as I feel we will always need support and encouragement a little more than artists, as they will always be able to share their work more readily than us. However, comic books must have words AND pictures so no group for aspiring comic book professionals should be exclusive to either. At the least, I hope this Meetup group will be a haven for our kind. Ultimately, I see trips to conventions, workshops and networking at the top of a pile of advantages and fun experiences this sort of endeavor can generate. Ready? Come on in!
