Learn more about domestic violence and family court issues!

We know it's short notice, but we're putting together an impromptu meeting to discuss domestic violence and our ongoing investigation into New Orleans and Jefferson Parish family courts and how it impacts women and their children. If you have any interest or expertise in these areas and would like to join in, please come! We'll be announcing a court watch training session in the next month or two, so that will also be another way you can become more involved in feminist issues very soon. Directions once you are on site: Enter through the main Law School entrance on Freret, turn left to find the elevators and take one to the third floor. Take a left out of the elevators and walk around the corner to room 357.

We'll definitely have more opportunities coming up to participate in a family court watch and other domestic violence issues, so never fear, we'll be busy soon! We had to get some of our ideas on the table so we'd know what we could realistically tackle.

    Thanks for your interest!
