I think it would be great to have a woman in office, but I'm concerned about one of the major tenants of her platform, "We need to put our people first." Below is a cut and paste from her website, and while I agree with her position on guest worker amnesty, I find a lot of what is written below either frighteningly harsh or conservative pandering. Thoughts ladies?
The US needs to tighten its borders with Mexico
and Canada. Our national security depends on this. We need more
trained border guards, and we need to make and enforce laws that punish
businesses and corporations for hiring illegal immigrants. Illegal is
illegal! Calling illegal immigrants, undocumented workers, is like
calling dope dealers, unlicensed pharmacists. Illegal immigrants
should not be allowed to jump in line ahead of those legal immigrants
who have sacrificed and waited so long.

If you're interested in helping a woman get elected to Jindal's seat, take a look at Gilda Reed and lend her a hand.
Anyone BUT another power hungry conservative who knows so much about what women want, right?
Your money, your time, your assistance at making sure she gets a good shot is very appreciated.http://www.gildareed.com/
