"The Amorous Ambassador", $15, Dinner before at Alex's BBQ

"Hormone" Harry Douglas from The Sensuous Senator is back to his old shenanigans again, but this time as the American Ambassador to Great Britain. He tells his wife Lois, that he has arranged a golf outing in Scotland for the weekend. Lois in turn tells Harry that she too will be gone for the weekend at a spa, and that their daughter Debbie will be gone visiting a girlfriend. Each then tells Perkins, their newly hired butler in their country home, of their plans. He stoically watches as each of them leave for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Harry, secretly returns to the empty house, having planned a romantic rendezvous with a sexy, next-door neighbor Marianne. Debbie returns with her boyfriend Joe, believing they have the house to themselves for the whole weekend. Harry's secretary, Faye Baker, and Captain South of the U.S. Marine Corps arrive in the wake of a bomb threat at the embassy, and must set-up embassy communications in Harry's country home. Captain South places a squad of marines around the perimeter, and everybody is sealed in.

Before the play we'll get together for dinner at 6:30 at Alex's Southern Style BBQ located at 5362 West Village Drive (just south of Erlich) http://www.alexsbbqtampa.com/

Laughter is a good tonic, I enjoyed the show. Nice seeing so many NTS friends.

Although we didn't get to share dinner with everyone, I really enjoyed the play. I laughed a lot (even though some scenes were 'over the top") but for $15, you couldn't do better than this! I think having audiences laughing so hard is infectious, so very enjoyable evening.

My children laughed a lot and really enjoyed themselves and I did too. A few years back I invited them all for a Christmas present to see Mrs. Robinson. My gym teacher was selling the tickets at the gym and so she was going to be in the play So I bought them. She mentions at the gym that she had had her boobs enlarged not thinking anything about it. In the middle of the show the whole row filled with chuck and my family , Mrs. Robinson ,my gym teacher takes off her shirt and parades her new booby's before my family and my children turn and look at me down the row of seats and I was just so Embarrassed .what in the world had I brought my children to,

Funny but predictable. The plot was so familiar that I felt as though I had seen it before. The butler was the salvation of the show. I enjoyed it but not as much as I had hoped.
