"Absinthe (Listeni/ˈæbsɪnθ/ or /ˈæbsænθ/; French: [apsɛ̃t]) is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic (45–74% ABV /[masked] proof) beverage.[1][2][3][4] It is an anise-flavoured spirit derived from botanicals, including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium (a.k.a. "grand wormwood"), together with green anise, sweet fennel, and other medicinal and culinary herbs. Absinthe traditionally has a natural green colour but may also be colourless. It is commonly referred to in historical literature as "la fée verte" (the green fairy). Although it is sometimes mistakenly referred to as a liqueur, absinthe is not traditionally bottled with added sugar, and is therefore classified as a spirit.[5] Absinthe is traditionally bottled at a high level of alcohol by volume, but is normally diluted with water prior to being consumed."

Watch out for the Green Fairy's and see you there!

I am so bummed to say, that I will not be making it tonight due to the rain. :( If anyone has read my intro? I left my home, property and vehicles behind when I moved here and went under hospice care.......I survived (obviously :p ) I have been rehabilitating and rebuilding my new life from scratch and do not have a vehicle...yet. I have a motorized bike, but can't ride it in the rain. :(
This would have been my very first social meet-up since I've been here too.
    Weather providing.....perhaps next one?
    Love and Light! :)

Hi folks, just an update. Currently we've got 66 people signed up from 4 different Meetup groups. Roughly 55 (including non-RSVP people) will be there. Absinthe has a plan B if it rains. For those that like to sing or play pool, after happy hour party at the Attic.

Drink responsibly and see you there!
