Why are you interested in joining the New York Area ASL Practice Group?

Practice is key to learning any language. I'd like to be part of a group where we interact for a common purpose.

What experience, background or education do you have in ASL ?

Have taken basic ASL (70 hours) and have practice with friends who are deaf and hard of hearing. But I have to learn to sign ASL not English! LOL

Have started at Sign Language Center and would like to meet other people who are at different levels.

What MIcky is saying about this Meetup Group

I think evryone should try to go to the Rubin Musuem Tour next month. It's a great opportunity to join others who are practicing sign language.
