*This is a FREE Demo class + indoor playspace time
*Music class starts promptly at 2:30pm - 3:10pm. We will have exclusive access to their indoor playroom downstairs from 3:15 - 4:15pm.

Some info about the classes at 3 Little Birds Music:
In our classes, you and your child will enjoy a wide variety of music including well-known Classical pieces, traditional children's songs, and contemporary favorites. The children play along with instruments such as maracas, wave drums, wrist bells, wood blocks, recorders, and many more. Starting at age two, the children also play along on their own violins, guitars, and keyboards. Each week, your teacher introduces you to a different instrument of the orchestra and every child has the opportunity to play along with her. We also incorporate music-inspired movement into every class. Younger children find delight bouncing on balls to the rhythm of the music and older children love dancing in coordination, solidifying the building blocks of rhythm, tempo, and dynamics through physical expression.

"for children aged 1-6" - does this mean younger kids will be maimed by the fun stuff?

It was great meeting some other dads at this meetup. The facility was great, clean and fun and overall had a great time.

This is an amazing space. Of the various music classes we've previewed this one was the most advanced as far as having different instruments to look at and play. I love the idea of introducing a new instrument every week and letting the kids touch it. Also the music was 1920s standards which was a nice change from the usual kids songs. The teacher and accompanist were both lovely musicians and the kids seemed to have fun. The class overall may be better for slightly older kids (I think the top age was 2 until Oliver joined us) as there is a lot of interaction expected on their part. The only other thing I would have liked is a little less structure and more education on things we could take home (ie. this is a great way to get your toddler to bounce with the rhythm... this is a fun song to sing when they're having a meltdown... etc...) The playroom is AWESOME! I wish we lived closer to it.

Good turn out at a very nice venue. It was nice to be able to hang out in the play gym after the class ended. Unfortunately I had to bail a bit early (nap time) but would have liked to hang longer with some of the dads. I would consider attending a class here.
