Rudin Family Playground
We've moved our usual Monday morning get together at the Great Hill a couple of stops further down Central Park while the fall weather is still pretty nice.
Right across from the 96th St. stop of the B and C Trains, the Rudin Playground has a splash pad, a sandbox, climbers and swings suitable for babies, toddlers and older kids. There are plenty of benches shaded by an ivy trellis (as well as in the sun). There is room for little kids to run around, chess tables and a drinking fountain ideal for water balloon filling.
Please bring balloons, balls, sandbox toys, and swim diapers and a dry change of clothes if your little one(s) tend to get wet. Whole Foods, Crumbs and Starbucks are down the block at Columbus if you need coffee, food or a restroom.
In case of so-so weather, the organizers will probably come, in the case of bad weather we'll call it early Monday morning.
