What do you think of when you hear the words “Japanese Beer”? If your exposure to some of these wonderful brews has been limited, this might be the event for you!
(**please note, you must purchase tickets for this event** Cost is $26. Purchase tickets here: http://www.japansociety.org/event/the-delights-of-craft-beer-japanese-cuisine)
We received a nice email from Tomomi Sekiya, the Lecture Program Officer for the Japan Society, providing details about this educational opportunity.
The Delights of Craft Beer & Japanese Cuisine will allow us to experience the flavors of Japanese craft beers. Brooklyn Brewery Brewmaster Garrett Oliver will speak about Japanese craft beers and brewing methods, and how craft beers pair with Japanese cuisine. After the lecture, guests will be able to sample craft beers including two from Nippon Craft Beer that are not yet available in the United States: Kagua Rouge and Kagua Blanc.
Tickets are required for this event ($26) and will sell out quickly, so please do not miss your chance to learn about how Japanese cuisine and craft beers pair with each other, and to enjoy rare and flavorful craft beers. The event will be presented at Japan Society on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6:30pm.
Again, please note, you must purchase tickets for this event. Cost is $26. Any issues with tickets would need to be directed to the Japan Society. http://www.japansociety.org/event/the-delights-of-craft-beer-japanese-cuisine
