Let's drink like it's Munich! Oktoberfest, part zwei!

Let's do it again. Come join us on Saturday afternoon, September 28 at Radegast Hall & Biergarten in Williamsburg to celebrate The NYC Gay Craft Beer Club's 2nd Annual Oktoberfest! It may not be Munich, but it is the next best thing in the city. Radegast has several Oktoberfest events planned that day including live German bands, a celebratory keg tapping, a beer stein holding contest, and the traditional Bavarian pig roast. If last year is any indicator, it should be fun afternoon. Also, if we're lucky, Herr Bill will wear his Bundhosen again this year. Ich hoffe, Sie dort zu sehen!

Hi everyone, for those who might have thought to take the G train to the event, there's no trains in between Court Sq and Nassau. There are free shuttle buses, just a heads up that the journey will take a bit longer.

The B62 originates at Court Square, and travels over the Pulaski "Bridge" (not Neidge) to Brooklyn. See you tomorrow.

Per my email to those who have RSVPed, it looks like we will have a well attended Oktoberfest meetup on Sept. 28. It should be great event. I called Radegast to see if we could reserve a table, but was told that because of the popularity of the event, we won't be able to reserve a table. Don't worry, though. I will arrive at Radegast when they open at 12 PM and will save a table for the group. I increased the number of attendees of the event to 30, which one table can sit. I also moved up the meeting time of the event to 12:30 to ensure we can hold our spot. The earlier you arrive, the better. If you have RSVPed "yes" to this event and can no longer attend, please change your RSVP to "no" to allow those on the waiting list to come. As for those on the waiting list, I would love for you to attend, as well. Feel free to come, but be aware that it will be a tight fit, and you'll likely be standing, which Radegast says is okay. Can't wait to toast with you all on the 28th!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
