Williamsburg Art Walk

Joint walk with Appalachian Mountain Club.

Organized by Tim ([masked])

Let’s go for a stroll around the hipster enclave of Williamsburg, Brooklyn – visiting art galleries will be the main idea, but we will also check out a nice, new riverfront park, hip cafes, dull stretches of urban desolation and condo buildings, knick-knack shops, a chocolatier, possibly a brewery tour, and whatever else catches our eyes.

There will be a break for lunch and optional craft beer and arcade games at the end of the walk.

Meet at 11 a.m. in front of Toby’s Estate Café, 125 North 6th Street, 2 blocks from the Bedford Avenue Station on the L train. Dress warmly and feel free to contact leader with any questions.

@Mary Ann. Hi. I plan to go around 4 miles or so, thru city streets, with lots of stops along the way. You can drop out anytime of course - the subway will never be more than 15 minutes away.

How far do you think the walk will be? This is good, I live in Manhattan and only have a vague idea of Brooklyn! It will be fun to go exploring.

If I can. I have an early dental appointment. Do not wait for me if I am not on time.
