Dear hikers, the updated plan is that we'll be leaving at 1pm on Friday and staying for 2 nights at a lovely Bed & Breakfast. We'll spend Saturday hiking and leaf peeping. Sunday we'll be driving home.
GEAR - Overnight stuff (pajamas, toothbrush, earplugs, etc.) - Standard cold-weather day-hiking gear: layers, layers, layers! top and bottom! NO COTTON! - waterproof hiking boots. No sneakers!!!! - Plenty of Snacks (powerbars, tuna...), I'm not sure we'll have an opportunity to buy sandwiches there - poncho and baseball cap OR hooded rain jacket and rain pants - sunscreen - hat - sunglasses - swim gear and towel More detailed description of proper equipment can be found
