Let's trudge through the snow at the Rockefeller Park Preserve! We'll walk up Eagle Hill, visit Stone Barns, and take a look at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. The landscape is mostly gentle hills, but this will still be a full day of hiking because of the snow. Please wear warm clothing and good boots, and bring a quart of water. Traction aids might be useful, and if you have snowshoes, you could bring them. It will be possible to buy a sandwich or beverages in town before we begin walking. Please register with the leader (Tim Burrows, [masked]). Meet at Tarrytown train station at 10:15 am, so you can take the train that leaves Grand Central at 9:20 (or Marble Hill at 9:40). Joint hike with the Appalachian Mountain Club.
