Be prepared to bring all your meals for the trip.   Store your food in a bag that can be hung up out of reach of hungry animals.

    - Tent or tarp as a backup if the shelters are full

    - Sleeping pad and sleeping bag suitable for the 20s at night.
    - Hiking Boots (trail shoes may not be enough for these trails)
    -Traction devices (Micro-spikes)

    - The ten essentials

Unless there is a trail fee, the only group cost will be  for the driver's gas and tolls.

    Average hi/low: 40s/20s
Always expect rain/Ice/Snow. A good shell
and an extra layer are required.

I'm planning on driving and will have room for 3 passengers. I could pick people up in LIC close to P.S. 1. Would like to leave as early as possible.

I had a foot injury and have been forced to rest it well for the last few weeks, but will try to do some prep hikes before this date to make sure I can go without being a weak link
