Please use a picture showing your face. Some event hosts require it, and it is always helps to recognize people.

Yes

Do you understand that these are social events for hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Yes

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

All really, but will have to acquire gear for overnight camping.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Haven't done much here in the New York area but was an avid hiker when I lived in the Northwest. I did numerous day hikes and overnighters on the Timberline Trail of Mt. Hood.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

Fast

Introduction

Before coming to New York I lived in Oregon and enjoyed hiking and backpacking around Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens.
