Have you read the About Us page, and do you agree to abide by the Rules and Guidelines posted on there? (Note the part about your picture showing your face - I will decline your membership if it doesn't)

Yeah - nicely done on the about page. Thanks for being serious about the group.

Do you understand that these are social events for experienced hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Social it is. Social I like and add a hike it's great!

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

For now, low equipment day hikes, but eventually would love extended stuff. Actually, I love a bit of adventure. I can get around the world relatively easily, so would love something of granduerness. Know the "King's Walk" in Spain? That looks awesome!

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Did 2 recent trips in the last month. Muir Woods an Mohonk Mountain (did the labryth, fun!)

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

Intermediate cause I'm in shape. Oddly, after a few hours hiking, I find I get more energy. I'm not up to speed on proper gear for hikes, longer ones at least.
