Hi there. I've been hiking for the past year and absolutely love the outdoors! I admit to exercising indoors at the gym (rower, running, classes), but during Fall I take my exercise outdoors and hike. The more challenging the better!

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Short day hikes. I am interested in learning more about winter hiking this year.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Yes, I've hiked with other MeetUp groups on 6-8 mile beginner and intermediate hikes. I'm an avid exerciser and prefer an intermediate hike for the physical challenge.
