Have you read the About Us page, and do you agree to abide by the Rules and Guidelines posted on there? (Note the part about your picture showing your face - I will decline your membership if it doesn't)

I have read the page. And I agree to abide by the rules

Do you understand that these are social events for experienced hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Yes

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

I will probably be interested in all the different forms of hikes over the next few years, but for now I am mostly interested in the different day hikes.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

I have a little experience with easy hikes. I'd say the hardest I've done was probably mount March in the spring when there was still snow towards the top

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

I'd say somewhere between slow and intermediate.

Introduction

Hey, I live in queens ny, but grew up in Pa. Recently I realized that I really miss being outdoors and started trying to get some friends to hike with me. A friend of mine told me about this group and I think it would be right up my alley.
