Please use a picture showing your face. Some event hosts require it, and it is always helps to recognize people.

yes

Do you understand that these are social events for hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

yes

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Weekend trips, day hikes, kayaking

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

I got into hiking when I lived in Phx. Camelback and Squaw Peak were my favorites and I think they're intermediate. Here I've just been to Harriman - Schunnemunk and Storm King, which were both pretty easy.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

intermediate

Introduction

Hi I'm Rebecca - moved to NYC from Nola last June and like getting out of the city once in a while.
