Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

A little recently, more about 10 yrs ago, but I'm ramping up again and I do now have some nice new Merrelll boots and poles! I've hiked The Croton Reservoir trail down through Westchester and into the Bronx, gone all through Pocantico hills, this is of course mostly flat terrain but I did do Breakneck Ridge with a blind man about 10 years ago, so I'm game for challenge!

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

right now I'd say somewhere between slow and intermediate depending on the terrain. With regular walking groups I am generally in the front 20% of the group
