Please use a picture showing your face. Some event hosts require it, and it is always helps to recognize people.

Do you understand that these are social events for hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Short and Long day hikes. Winter hikes when my job allows. May consider other stuff as well.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

I've grown up in the Catskills and have hiked for about 30 years. I mostly do day hikes of about 6-10 miles but can endure more and have hiked further on vacations. I excel on rock scrambles. I don't know how to rate trail difficulty but unless it goes straight up (and I don't have rope) its not too difficult. I've done some mountaineering and top roping but never lead climbing or ice climbing. I've been caving since 1992 and was a member of the National Speleological Society.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

Intermediate - depends on the terrain. I usually advance beyond others on hard terrain. On flat terrain I keep up or get passed. I'm looking to improve my Cardio.

I enjoy Hiking, Mountain/Road Biking, Kayaking, Caving and Rock Scrambling. It's been a while since I've been camping/backpacking but enjoy that as well. Looking to meet new people who share in my interests!
