Hiking, camping, swimming, trips to historical or cultural events, parties in bars.
Yes. Most of it is recent and with this group. I used to hike a lot when I was younger and a lot of it involves roaming around Europe with a tent (or without) and sleeping in random places, under trees, etc. I also have camped out a lot in my life.
Intermediate. I was slow a few momths ago, but I have gained strength.
Driving from Larchmont (Westchester) I like hiking, camping, and swimming. It's fun and reminds me of my days in summer camp when I was a kid. It's much easier to forget about the troubles of life in the citywhen you are in the forest.
I had an AMAZING time! Suzanne planned the best events. We went to beautiful beaches (where we had the whole beach to ourselves); she took us to see a bioflourescent bay where we swam with glowing microorganisms -- that's someting you don't see every day; she took us on great mountain, rain forest, and dry-forest hikes; we got to explore a huge cave that was filled with cute little black bats; we saw the memorable and bizarre looking Karst country of the North-west. Suzanne carefully researched all of this -- to pack all of these trips into 8 days and to get us an apartment in San Juan that was 3 blocks from the beach and rental cars to see the whole island. GREAT JOB SUZANNE!
