Have you read the About Us page, and do you agree to abide by the Rules and Guidelines posted on there? (Note the part about your picture showing your face - I will decline your membership if it doesn't)

Yes, I have read the About Us page and agree to the Rules and Guidelines.

Do you understand that these are social events for experienced hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Mainly easy short day hikes,, with possibly some longer hides. I am not interested in camping, and recognize that I am not fit enough for intermediate or advanced hikes.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

My family usually goes on shorter trips of between 2-4 hrs, often on easy terrain but occasionally on steeper trails, with occasional longer hikes (6 hours). I'm a bit slow, but can keep up with groups, and can follow trail maps and blazes.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

I am student who has recently moved to the city. I am excited to meet new friends. I am not used to city life, and would like to find an outlet that allows me spend more time outdoors.
