Do you understand that these are social events for experienced hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Everything, especially Iceland! I've always wanted to explore that country. I kayak, canoe, climb, ski, trek, and I leave only footprints.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

Intermediate speed, very experienced. I hike most weekend days, and also rock scramble. Steep is good. In CT AMC terms, I'm a B2A.

Always interested in meeting new mates to travel with, and new hikes to check out. I also appreciate the enviro-friendly aspects of this group, as I've been a lifelong activist. It's good to know like-minded people to bounce ideas with.
