Do you understand that these are social events for experienced hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Short and long day hikes; camping; cross-country skiing. I'm most interested in long, strenuous day hikes.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Yes, mostly in North America (esp. British Columbia) and Austria, and mostly single-day intermediate hikes of 12-15 miles (I find these a little easy and prefer something much more strenuous). At my most adventurous, I did a challenging two-day hike in Austria to a 2900m peak (I think we started at about 1400m): it took 8 hours going up and 12 hours coming down (we took the scenic route going over to the next village).

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

I'd probably call myself intermediate, but others have been known to call me a mountain goat (i.e., fast). At the very least, I have very good stamina.

Hi! I'm Natasha and I'm looking forward to hitting the hills!
