What accounts for your passion for food prepared with hot peppers (chiles)?

My mom always made food spicy. I developed a taste for them. She used to cook with peppers so hot she sometimes had to wore gloves. I kind of can't eat without some sort of spice in my food (proof of disgust from my friend who watched me pour a bottle red chili flakes onto my pasta), and there are numerous pictures of my college dorm with a bottle of hot sauce next to my bed.

What country produces your favorite hot 'n spicy dishes?

China. Specifically Hunan but I recently started getting into Indian food.

What IS your favorite hot 'n spicy dish? Why?

I can never get enough of hot and sour soup. There is this dish my mother makes that is chopped up chicken (with bones) in simmered in a broth and chili peppers but I have no idea what it is called in English.

What currently unfamiliar hot 'n spicy cuisine or dish are you most looking forward to sampling?

I've never been a fan of fish, but I saw this dish in queens that had peppercorn chili whole fish that I'm interested in trying.

What is your favorite beverage with a hot 'n spicy meal? Your favorite dessert afterward?

I like to bubble tea with meals and fruit as dessert.

My name is Min. I was born in Hunan, China which if you don't know, is known for their "liberal usage of hot chili peppers" (Wikipedia). I moved to New York about five years ago with two suitcases and a bottle of sriracha sauce.
