Welcome!

This group was started to help Boomer classical music and jazz lovers find each other and attend interesting events around town. Organizer will try to keep abreast of interesting performance related events around town for posting. In addition to music, events may include dance, lectures, performance art.

Organizer will accept voluntary donations of $1-$5 from every member attending an event to help defray her expenses.

We appreciate your honoring the Boomer category which is roughly 45+ in age.

Organizer will post events but individual members are responsible for purchasing their own tickets, making their own reservations, etc.

Organizer will, in most cases, not be purchasing or reserving blocks of seats for any event.

For most events, Organizer will *meetup* with group members after the event in a designated location inside the venue holding a small sign reading "MEETUP." People can then decide whether or not they want to go out together for drinks / dinner.

Of course, it is to be hoped that once the group becomes more established that people will get to know each other, recognize one another and try to sit together.
