Update 4/2: For those interested in dinner, we will eat in Big Wong, an Authentic Cantonese joint in Chinatown (4 stars on Yelp) where one can get inexpensive BBQ meat over rice, noodle soups, congee with fried dough and even twin lobsters for 20 bucks! Although this place doesn't take reservations, we should not have problem seating everyone. I have also changed this to individual style rather than family style. But if you are in sharing mood and want to try more than one item, try pairing with someone and share the bill. Reminder, bring CASH, Big Wong does not accept credit cards!
Love Spring time walks, let's do one in Central Park!
What is the plan?
We will walk in Central park from the Southeast 59th St to Northwest 110th St. Then we will hop on the subway to Chinatown for Cantonese BBQ dinner (Soy Sauce Chicken, Roasted Pork, Roasted Duck, Roasted Pig).
Where and when to meet?
Meet near the 5th Ave / 59th St. (N, Q, R) subway street entrance at 1:30 pm.
This station is on 59th Street between 5th and 6th Ave.
What if I'm late?
Please plan ahead and allocate plenty of time to get there on time. We will give only 5 minutes for late comers and will start the walk thereafter.
Who can I contact?
If for some reason you have trouble getting directions to the location, please e-mail or text me Eric at (347)[masked] beforehand. I will NOT be able to provide phone directions during the day of the event.
What to wear and bring?
It is recommended that you dress for the weather, wear comfortable footwear and bring some beverage. Also bring CASH if you are joining us for dinner.
