I had my first Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich here, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to experience it.
I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop Banh Mi. It tasted very similar to "Vietnamese Grilled Pork Chop over Broken Rice".
The pork wasn't as flavorful or crispy as that dish but with the pickled vegetables, fish sauce, and cucumbers it was very similar.
I added an egg on top. The mixture of the runny yolk and the inside of the sandwich is just delicious.
I also ordered the Mango Lychee Tea with Passionfruit Jelly. Very sweet and refreshing. Definitely get the jellies over tapioca.
They're not chewy and kind of firm and silky instead. I find as whole their easier to drink with the tea as you don't have to spend as long chewing them.
Apparently this restaurant does a modern take on Banh Mi sandwiches so I can't wait to try them at more traditional places to compare.
