Back to School Impact Investing evening

Building on the incredible success of our Summer Happy Hour (July 31 - see coverage here:, we look forward to gathering the community again on September 19. This event will feature several senior impact investors and other experts as facilitators and speakers. It will be an interactive evening including small group discussions, expert presentations, and plenty of time for networking.

We'll have expert representatives from impact investing funds and advisors, as well as Columbia and New York Universities. Combined with the same rich diversity of traditional finance professionals, social entrepreneurs, students, and other community members interested in the field.

Please note: there is a $10 charge for this event, which covers the cost of the venue as well as drinks & snacks for attendees.

Learned a bunch and felt excited to discuss my work and my passion. Definitely glad the lack of female and minority presenters was mentioned!

We're looking for a photographer to document the evening (don't have to play shutterbug the whole time - just a bit of networking and the first 15 minutes of the more formal program).

We will waive your admission fee; provide photo credits wherever used and references for future work (based on performance of course); AND be eternally grateful... Takers? Please message me individually if you're willing and able. Thanks!

Looking forward to meeting everyone. In case people missed it, this was a truly impressive article on a successful instance of impact investing by an Israeli firm, Vital Capital in Angola:

Thanks for sharing, Ari - Eytan is a great example indeed - inspiring guy! Roger Frank does some similar work that you could ask him about on Thurs.
