UPDATE: By popular demand, I am changing our kickoff event to cocktails instead of dinner. Location is the Stone Rose Lounge in the Time Warner Center, 10 Columbus Circle, 4th Fl, New York, NY. I hope to see you there!
Come meet and mingle with other New York area in-house counsel at this group's very first Meetup! This will be just be a casual cocktail hour in a relaxed setting to kickoff the group and give members a chance to become acquainted. There is otherwise no set agenda for this Meetup. The Group Organizer is not collecting any money upfront, but please come prepared to pay your own way for drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

Todd Stimmelinteresting mix of people, both young and older in different disciplines. i think many law firm lawyers will want to join in and there are good and bad sides to that. in other organization of which i have been a member, the vendors often take over in their attempt to get business. that said, the vendors add value and often want to foot the bill.

The event was a great way to introduce ourselves and mix and mingle. The atmosphere was relaxed and very inviting for everyone. It was nice to have the opportunity to learn about the members' diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. I look forward to the next meet up!
