Hi everybody,
My name is Matt Shinners, and I've taught and tutored the LSAT for Blueprint Test Preparation for many years. I now live in New York City and have met a lot of people who have no idea how to begin studying for this daunting test. Others have questions about techniques and concepts that they could use answers to, so I'm starting this group to do periodic meet ups for those who are interested in starting (or who currently are engaged in) LSAT study.
I studied a lot (probably too much) for the LSAT and received a 180. After graduating from Harvard Law School, I started at Blueprint to help others realize their dreams of attending law school. Between my own experience taking the LSAT and teaching, I should be able to answer any questions you might have. We can do some informal meetings in coffee shops and whatnot.
I want to stress that these meetups are FREE.
If you're interested in more formal LSAT prep I can answer questions about that, too, and get you guys some discounts, but if you're just going the self-study route, I'm here to be taken advantage of.
Email me if you've got any questions, and hopefully I'll meet some of you soon!
