Opening Your Heart: A Free Seminar About Learning to Receive Love

This free seminar is the second of a series titled "The Heart of the Matter". There comes a time for most of us, when we wish to give and receive love. We need to embrace the vulnerability and the softness of our own human heart in order that we can share the tenderness with others.

In this seminar, Samantha will talk about opening the heart and saying yes to receiving love. She will also introduce some fun and playful vision games that can help you to open up to yourself, your love, and a partner.

This seminar will answer the question: What can we do to really accept ourselves so that we can open our heart for another to see?

Where: NY Core Center, 115 E23rd St, 12th Floor. NY NY
Cost: Free of charge. (Suggested donation)

And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to open." Anais Ninn

That was 1. nothing like I expected it to be,
    2. VERY helpful and enlightening,
    3. And I felt so much like a fish out of water, or a Model T in a Lamborghini world.

Thank you, Samantha, Matteus and D.

Hi, Jim from NY. 51yo male. First meet up I have rsvp'd yes to. Something of a Romantic at heart; a musician by training; recovering from a relationship I stayed in about 7 years longer than was healthy for my psyche.

I have NO problem dealing with women in a group [the "performer" in me]. THAT is safe, to me. I am not traditionally "shy". I can speak to audiences, play music (when my skills were better), entertain, cook write, or tell stories.

I have ALWAYS been ready to give love; always ready to help others. LEARNING how to RECEIVE love: your title. It's like the last scene of "House," where he receives a tangential remark, which leads to the epiphany that saves the patient JUST about to die.

I KNOW -- I KNOW I need to love myself BEFORE I MAY LOVE SOMEONE ELSE again . . . but I NEVER REALIZED I can LEARN to RECEIVE LOVE.

So, on the 11th I shall be there. With my eyes and ears and mind OPEN. AND JUST MAYBE, my HEART, too.

Ms. Keen: Thank you, actually; much like many things in life, I couldn't have shared if there wasn't an event to which I could go. And the event IS organized and hosted by you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
