MongoDB in Production: Data and Availability

We're excited to bring together a panel of excellent speakers to present on how they use MongoDB to ensure high-performance and data durability in their applications. We'll hear from Vinayak Javaly of EveryScreen Media (everyscreenmedia.com), Naveen Agnihotri of Lenddo (www.lenddo.com), and Jon Hoffman of foursquare (foursquare.com) and how they manage their stack with MongoDB to build out robust systems that support modern real-time web application. Each has a fascinating use case, and we're very excited to be hosting it in Buddy Media's new SoHO offices.

Awesome! It was really nice to see how mongo is actually used in production by some heavy users. Hope to see more like this.

It was somewhat useful, though I didn't learn much that we didn't already know. We use mongo a lot at our company, so this might not be applicable to other attendees.

It's great to hear directly from people who have real-world, first hand experience with Mongo. The 3 panelists all had interesting stories and were not shy of giving details. Very useful!

The panel were open and honest about the challenges, issues, and learning curve associated with implementing MongoDB within their environments. Also, it was nice to see a mixture of use cases for the product and see where their implementations converged and diverged.

Panel discussion was way too high-level... Panelists didn't really have time to get into the real details of each of their systems, and the free-form format was just sloppy. Single-company talks would be preferable.

I really enjoyed listening to the panel about 3 diverse sets of deployments and the challenges associated at each level. Great stuff. The panelists were knowledgable and well informed.

Hi, I'm so sorry because finally I can't attend it even though I'm very interested, will you upload any video or slide?
    Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of a scenario where users on a site would be 'following' events generated by other members and 'objects' on the site, and I would be very interested in a schema to support the easy generation of personalized 'news' feeds (a-la twitter).
    thank you very much

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
