Personally, I find announcements that don't specifically call out the name of the hiring company to be completely inappropriate. Like this one.

 

I would go further and forbid job announcements by recruiters and only allow job postings by hiring managers. This kind of e-mails are just "cold calls" to a group of people that work with a product that's being discussed on the list. It's equivalent to tagging everyone who has "mongodb" on their LinkedIn profile and spamming them.
