There's a resurgence in the popularity of oysters and we've formed the New York Oyster Lovers Meet up to gather like minded folks to share their love of these delicious bivalves. Old hand ostreaphiles and oyster newbies alike are all welcome. We'll have outtings to oyster bars, restaurants, and farms to taste old and new oyster varieties from West Coast and East Coast and learn about wine and beer pairings that go well with oysters.

RSVP Policies
Due to event exclusivity and occupancy limitations, we often can not accomodate as many members as we'd like. Since space is limited, members may not RSVP for guests. If you'd like to bring a guest, they must be a registered Meetup member and RSVP to the event. "+1" added to notes and RSVPs will not be honored.

If you RSVP and do not show up to an event, you will not be permitted to RSVP to future events and your membership may be suspended. If you can not attend an event, update your RSVP so that members who are on the waiting list may attend. 

Payment
Most events will require pre-payment to eliminate no-shows.

Payments will be accepted via Amazon Payments or Paypal depending on Organizer preferences. All Meetup events will list what is included with payment (i.e. entree and one drink, tax and tip, etc.) any additional food or beverage must be purchased independently by the member at the event.
