Hi, Daniel,
I am so so sorry. I was planning to come tonight and ended up with chills and a fever today. I am not even going to work, and I am never missing--this is my first sick day in years. It was such a good time for me to go to the meeting, after the traffic dies down and after work, giving me plenty of time to get there. I am really sorry, and maybe if I was the only one coming you can cancel the hotel reservation. I hope you have a wonderful turn out.
