This amazing annual event is host by Rich. He writes:
Come spend a few hours with nice people celebrating Thanksgiving. This is our 3rd anniversary. Last year we had a great time with new and old friends.
This is for atheists, agnostic, freethinkers, skeptics, humanists, secularists, and all-round nice people to come together. We celebrate each other and the harvest we work for with our hands and minds!
Here are the details: Start at 4 till 9 pm, might go longer if we are drinking a bunch. Come anytime during that time frame. Main dinner will be around 6:30-7pm.
Bring food and drinks. About $15 worth or pay $15 cash. Put what you're bringing in the comments section of your RSVP. Home-made stuff is desired but not required. Grill will be working too. Bring appropriate stuff for the time you're coming. No olive and crackers at 8pm, bring those at 4 or 5pm. Desserts would be good at that time. Come hungry!
I'll cook a turkey again this year.
Expect about 30 people or so during the night. If it warms up a little we can hang outside some. Will have heater going too. For those diehards and drinker we might show movies after 9pm.
Some of us don't have family or friends to spend the holiday with so join us and make a happy family atmosphere with us!
