Hi-Line Park and Details

Okay, so now no one has anything to do this weekend because I cancelled the Intrepid. How about a ride on the High Line! Well, actually it's a park that's in the air that used to be a rail line, but you get the idea. Lot's of people like to go up there, which means lots of people to photograph, but be careful, some people don't like that. Today's theme is details. It's real easy to get portrait and landscape shots, but sometimes a little bit tells a lot. Remember, less is more, and I'm not just talking about the plant life. Try to find something that tells a story, or hints at something greater. And please remember, you are not limited to this theme, or any of my themes. Just try to have fun, and pay no attention to the naked women in the windows of the hotel. Oh, you didn't know about that? Don't worry, they won't bite, unless you want them to. We'll meet on the NE corner of 14th Street and 10th Ave.

Marc, a polarizer does not behave any different on digital than it does on film. However, your Autofocus might give you some trouble. Send me a messed up picture to [masked] It will help me narrow down the possibilities of your troubles.

Wow Cliff looks like it was a great event. Sorry to see so many No shows, it makes thing start out slow waiting around.

Was a great time as always. Also after the shoot. Was always nice to have a chat and share things about our hobby. Another way to learn.
