Who organized?
Pivotal Labs

Pivotal Labs is pleased to announce Tracker User Groups! We’ll be hosting user groups focused on our award-winning Pivotal Tracker project management software in both our San Francisco and New York offices. The first New York meetup will be held on Jun 30.

The Tracker User Groups are a forum for product managers, project managers, entrepreneurs, and developers to share techniques and discuss the real day-to-day issues surrounding software project management. We’ll talk about upcoming Tracker features and look at third-party integrations. We'll discuss story estimation techniques and talk about what makes a good story. We’ll share our experience with agile planning, discuss patterns and anti-patterns of story management and acceptance, and generally discuss how to make the most effective use of the tool and the process that the tool is supposed to support.

We look forward to talking directly with our users and understanding what they love most and like least about Tracker so we can continue to make it better. We hope you can join us!

    •  Overall, I thought the meetup was interesting and informative. I felt a little out of place because I'm not exactly the target user for this product, but I find it very helpful in my day-to-day planning. The organizers were thoughtful and interested in our feedback, and the other users had really interesting views on Tracker and all the different ways it can be used. Also, I got a free shirt, so that was cool.
    •  Good group for discussion of excellent software! Tracker devs are genuinely interested in using our feedback to improve the software.
    •  Very informative. Good people. And way too many chicken wings.
